Linked by mountains and rivers, China and ASEAN share cultural similarities and enjoy good neighborliness and long-lasting friendship. China-ASEAN relations have entered a new stage of all-round development. This year marks the Year of ASEAN-China Media Exchanges. It is also the first year for the implementation of the China-ASEAN Strategic Partnership Vision 2030. Media is playing an irreplaceable role in building a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future and deepening the China-ASEAN strategic partnership.
Around the theme of "New Trends, New Cooperation, New Future," the participants exchanged views on how the Chinese and ASEAN media should actively conform to the development of new technology to promote media cooperation.
They also explored innovative ways to report on the economic and social development of China and ASEAN countries, as well as achievements in bilateral and multilateral exchange and cooperation, and to tell good stories of win-win cooperation as well as mutual support and assistance between Chinese and ASEAN people.
