The CGTN Global Media Summit and CCTV+ Video Media Forum is an annual summit hosted in China for the international media industry. It is a platform designed to facilitate global conversations among Chinese and international media organizations where ideas and experiences can be exchanged. This year the summit has invited speakers from broadcasting, digital, social media and influencers as well as speakers from tech companies to discuss, decipher, and debate some of today's most contested issues and trending topics including "Media & Technology: The Secret to Success? The Road to Ruins?" and "Tech, News and the Next Generation: The Evolution of Content Consumption". The one-day summit will take place on December 4 in Beijing, China.
