As China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region marks its 70th anniversary, journalism is finding new ways to tell its story.

China Daily designed two special newspaper pages capturing seven decades of progress — from cultural vibrancy to economic growth and sustainable development. Taking it a step further, they brought the pages to life in a short video, where animated headlines and layouts merge seamlessly with real scenes from Xinjiang.

Through this innovative blend of print and motion, journalism not only records history but also makes it vivid, engaging, and timeless.
