The first meeting of the 10th Council of All-China Journalists Association (ACJA) successfully concluded in Beijing on Sep 17. He Ping was elected president of ACJA.
During the meeting, the work report of the Standing Council of the 9th Council of ACJA was deliberated and basically approved, and the revised draft of the Constitution of ACJA was deliberated and approved. The meeting also elected the Standing Council of the 10th Council of ACJA, president and vice-presidents, and appointed executive secretaries.
Liu Zhengrong, Yan Xiaoming, Liu Siyang, Wang Yibiao, Yang Xiaowei, Ju Zhaohui, Zhang Yutang, Zhao Jingyun, Chen Songqing, Huang Changkai, Zhang Chunjiao, Li Xiaojun and Liu Chengan were elected vice-presidents of ACJA.
The Standing Council appointed Liu Zhengrong, Zhang Baixin, Ji Xingxing, Tian Yuhong, Wu Jing and Su Rongcai executive secretaries of ACJA.
