All-China Journalists Association holds Lunar New Year reception

BEIJING, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- The All-China Journalists Association on Tuesday held a Lunar New Year reception, attended by more than 280 Chinese and foreign guests.

The reception invited heads of major media organizations in Beijing, chiefs of related organs of the central authorities, members of Chinese and foreign media, and foreign diplomatic envoys.

Zhang Yannong, president of the All-China Journalists Association, thanked the journalists for their efforts this year and extended congratulations for their achievements.

Zhang also said the association would continue to provide thoughtful service and convenience to Chinese and foreign journalists in the new year.
